My first DJ gig in NY came as a request from my friend Erica Blitz, who was organizing a concert at the Wetlands and often told me I had the juciest record collection she'd ever seen.. I agreed to do it reluctantly, because I still had my corporate job at Kodak. So Erica put me on the bill as the Reluctant DJ and it stuck. I spun a few times before and between the sets of Soul Coughing and Cibo Matto at Wetlands.
