Erica Maeyama had come to me to produce the music of her first fashion show at the legendary Lucky Cheng's Restaurant in NYC's East Village. That was the beginning of a rich collaboration on downtown theme parties which culminated in the very successful "Jet Set" at Embassy in Tribeca. "Jet Set" ran for several months until Erica and I decided to do some jetsetting of our own. Little did I know then that the success of Jet Set would lead me to an unanticipated and long career as a DJ.
