"The Prototype of Kodak's new digital camera, designed specifically for photo-journalists, has been successfully demonstrated to senior executives and editors of News Ltd in Australia. The camera was brought to Australia by Lucien Samaha, from Kodak's headquarters in Rochester, New York.

Lucien also ran a series of master-classes in colour photography for staff of the Advertiser in Adelaide. This newspaper will be the first to be converted to colour printing in Australia. The new camera attracted much interest.
