Macquarie Place, Sydney - 13 May, 1991 |
One of my first assignments for Eastman Kodak Company was the introdution of the very first digital camera, the Kodak Professional DCS, to markets worldwide. My assignment in Sydney, coincided with the 150th Anniversary of Photography in Australia. I was part of the ceremonies that took place on the very same spot where the first Australian photograph was made 150 years before. I am here on the cover of Pro Talk magazine carrying the very bulky and heavy Kodak Pro DCS, along with Max Dupain, "one of Australia's fathers of photography", and Daguerreotypist Sandy Barrie.
